Research
in Trade and Industry
The
SNNPR, Trade and Industry Bureau gives due attention
for research as it is the basic tool for identifying
the problems and seeking for the best solution.
For this reason the former ICT
and Statistics service of the bureau
has been reorganized to be Research
and ICT service as of Sept.11/2008.
Up on its organization, the Research and ICT
service together with the advisory team of the
bureau has prepared the Terms of Reference for
Research under BOTI. The bureau is working in
collaboration with Hawassa
University, The
Engineering Capacity Building Program (ecbp),
The SNV and other organizations
in relation with the research work. A University-Industry
Linkage is established and this linkage is being
assisted by the aforementioned organizations.
